Regarding the Dreaded Returns & Refunds Issue

Every book is sold as-is. Anything listed will be in good-to-excellent condition when it’s sent. I check every single book that goes out and you won’t get a book that is not like-new or as “like-new” as a 10-20 year old book might be. In the case of the trade paperbacks from Alkemara Press, these are brand-new.

Our returns/refunds policies:

  1. No returns or refunds on personally-inscribed books.
  2. Check your order  the minute you open the package. Damage? Let us know ASAP. Email: DClegg@DouglasClegg.com
  3. Outside the U.S.? We’re unable to do refunds/returns at this time. We apologize.

However…

With two specific exceptions, we will accept returns/refund requests on the listed price of the book(s) up to  30 days after a book’s arrival to you from the postal service in the U.S. only.

Just  email Doug the minute you know a mistake was made in the order and we’ll figure out how to proceed. Email: DClegg@DouglasClegg.com 

We take care in packaging, but sometimes bad things happen to good books in transit. If this is the case, email Doug and we’ll figure it out.
